ZNBC TV and radio signals go bad in Isoka District
Isoka, January 6th, 2015, ZANIS —- Isoka district commissioner Major Joy Siwila has expressed concern at the continued television and radio reception in the area.
But ZNBC Corporate affairs manager Masuzyo Ndlobvu, says that his Corporation is aware of the development in the district as the said transmitters were faulty and old.
Major Siwila says the continued bad reception of ZNBC radio and television signals was retarding development in the district.
He said most residents in the area were being denied important national development news and information as a result.
Major Siwila said even the local radio station Isoka Community radio was equally experiencing operational difficulties.
But ZNBC Corporate affairs manager Masuzyo Ndlobvu, says that his Corporation is aware of the development in the district as the said transmitters were faulty and old.
Mr. Ndhlovu told ZANIS in an interview that however efforts are being made to normalize the situation in the district.
He advised the concerned Isoka residents to be patients with the corporation as it expects the necessary spare parts from abroad.
Mr. Ndhlovu has further said that all 67 analogy transmitters will be replaced by 87 digital transmitters countrywide.
