—-Some villagers of Kala village have accused area MP, Nickson Chilangwa of not visiting them since he was voted to parliament.

The villagers made a complaint to ZANIS at Kala village in chief Munkanta’s area at the weekend during voter education ahead of the January 20, 2015 Presidential election.

One of the villagers, Raphael Lukwesa, said it is sad that Mr Chilangwa has not visited people in the area since he was elected MP
in 2011.

Mr Lukwesa called on Mr Chilangwa to visit the area if he was to learn the problems the people were facing.

He said people in the area are not happy about Mr Chilangwa’s attitude and threatened to chase him if he goes there.

Mr Lukwesa added that MPs are elected so that they can facilitate development in their areas and wondered why Mr Chilangwa did not bother to visit his electorate.

He said it will be sad to see Mr Chilangwa again during elections as this will be just a sign that he is interested in developing himself.

Efforts to get a comment from Mr Chilangwa by cell phone proved futile.
