Kalabo records zero crime during festivities
ZANIS,Kalabo January 5,2014,ZANIS —– Kalabo district recorded zero crime during both Christmas and New year holidays a development that has cheered locals.
ZANIS reports that Officer –In-Charge Kim Masambo confirmed the development to in an interview this morning.
Mr Masambo said the district was generally quiet as police intensified patrols to ensure law and order during and after celebrations.
He said it was gratifying to note that people enjoyed their celebrations without any interference.
And residents of Kalabo have commended the police in the district for maintaining law and order during the festivities.
Most residents talked appealed to the police to continue with their intensified patrols so that the district could continue to enjoy peace.
