In an interview with ZANIS today District Electoral Officer Tryson Chunga said so far the conflict Resolution committee of the Commission has not received any complaints from political parties and other stakeholders concerning the campaigns.

He observed that there are also no reports of removal of campaign materials for the all political parties participating in the election adding that it was an indication that all the parties were adhering to the  electoral code of conduct.

“ And I wish to advise all the political parties campaigning to continue observing the electoral code of conduct so that we can have a free and fair poll in the district,” he added.

Meanwhile, Mr. Chunga has appealed to the electorates who lost their voters cards to replace them in the three constituency centers created in the district.

“I want to urge all those who lost or had their voters cards defaced to go to the nearest centers were replacements will be done in the three constituencies,” Mr. Chunga said.

“ I must also ,mention here that  voters who lost their cards should simply go to the police station  to get a free police report and then come with their  Green National Registration ration Cards (NRC) to the nearest centre to get a new one,” he added.
