———————- — A local business man of Lukulu in Western province is appealing to well-wishers for help after his wife gave birth to triplets on 21st December.

Webster Mwiya told ZANIS in Lukulu that he was actually expecting twins but was surprised that his wife deliver triplets.

Mr. Mwiya however said the birth of his three children is a blessing which has increased the number of his children to seven.

Meanwhile, Lukulu District Hospital Acting Maternity Ward In-Charge
Ildephonse Ndimurwando said the mother to the triplets had no complications
during delivery even though the babies were born prematurely.

The Acting Maternity Ward In-Charge said despite the newly born experiencing high body
temperatures, they are in good condition but not yet discharged.

He has since also appealed to well wishers to help the Mwiya family saying the mother needs to feed on more nutritious food to help the babies grow well.
