Zambia’s representative in the just ended Big Brother Africa show in South Africa, Mulaza Kaira has described as devastating the death of President Michael Sata.

Kaira, popularly known as Mark II, learnt about the death of Mr. Sata a few days ago when he came out of the Big Brother House.

He arrived in Zambia yesterday and said he only learnt of the death of Mr. Sata after leaving Big Brother House on December 7, 2014.

Mark II stayed in the Big Brother House from October 5 to December 7, 2014 and was not informed about the death of Mr. Sata, who died on October 28, 2014 in London.

Speaking when he featured on a special programme on Power FM radio in Lusaka today, Mark II described the death of Mr. Sata as shocking.

And the Big Brother finalist said he proudly and diligently represented the country in the just ended Africa’s biggest reality show.

He thanked his fans from Zambia and various places across the world for the support rendered to him while in the house.

Meanwhile, Mark II said the Big Brother House experience was the best platform of exchanging cultural ideas from other housemates from across Africa.

A total of 26 housemates from thirteen countries across Africa competed for the US$300,000 prize money which was won by Idris from Tanzania.
