Kabwata Member of Parliament Given Lubinda says it is his hope that rival Patriotic Front members will amicably resolve their differences over the party’s presidency outside court as quickly as possible.
Mr. Lubinda has told QFM News in an interview that he is extremely worried about the challenges that have beset the ruling party with regards the presidential candidate.
He notes that with less than 50 days before the presidential by-election, he is anxious that the party is still running between court rooms over the issue of a presidential candidate.
Mr. Lubinda says he is praying that the differences will be sorted out within the shortest possible time so that the party can embark on campaigns.

He states that he has his personal preference on who should be the party’s presidential candidate and that it is his hope that hi preference will end up on the ballot paper.
Mr. Lubinda however states that he will go out and campaign for whoever will be confirmed as the PF presidential candidate at the end.
He adds that he will campaign for the PF presidential candidate with the same vigor he would have campaigned if he was the presidential candidate.
