The Lusaka High Court has ruled that Defense Minister Edgar Lungu was duly elected by the Extra-ordinary General Conference which was held in Kabwe over the weekend.

Upon hearing the matter this afternoon, Judge Mugeni Mulenga ruled that Mr. Lungu was duly elected as PF President.

The court has also prohibited any defendants whether by themselves or there agents, candidates, superiors, or subordinates be restrained in perpetuity from purporting to have been elected as Party President, other than Mr. Lungu.

The Court heard from new Secretary General Davies Chama who instructed his lawyers, Messrs Mosha and Company to enter into a consent Judgment.
