——A heavy down fall with strong winds has blown off roofs from classroom blocks, a clinic and staff houses for government workers at Mbosha in Chibombo district of Central province.

Mbosha school head teacher, Isaac Malipa, confirmed the development in a telephone interview to ZANIS in Kabwe, saying the incident happened at about 17:00 hours last evening.

Mr Malipa, however, said there was no one injured in the incident but added that a lot of materials and documents were socked both at the clinic and at the school.

He further explained that the other one-by-three classroom block was also damaged.

Mr Malipa, who was yet to report the incident to the District Education Board Secretary (DEBS) in Chibombo, explained that there was urgent need to have the roofs replaced.

He said villagers from around the school were busy helping teachers collecting pieces of iron sheets, timber and damaged materials to safety.
