HH promises free education to tertiary

—Opposition United Party for National Development (UPND) president, Hakainde Hichilema, has pledged to lower taxes once elected as Republican President.

 

And Mr Hichilema has further pledged to lift the wage freeze allegedly imposed on government workers in the country.

 

Speaking this evening when he appeared on Millennium Radio programme, the opposition leader said his administration would provide free education to Zambians from primary to tertiary level because education is a best equaliser in a person’s life.

 

Mr Hichilema said the people of Zambia were allegedly not benefiting from the policies of Government.

 

He further accused the PF government of not implementing what it promised the Zambian people such as enacting a constitution to stand the test of time in 90 days.

 

Mr Hichilema is one of the leaders vying for the presidency in the forthcoming presidential by election slated for January 20, 2015.
