Opposition Forum for Democracy and Development (FDD) president Edith Nawakwi has described as taboo the current happenings in the ruling Patriotic Front (PF).

Ms. Nawakwi says what is happening in the ruling PF is a taboo not only in Zambia but in Africa as well.

Speaking at a media briefing in Lusaka today Ms. Nawakwi states that this is the more reason that the ruling PF should be voted out of office.

Ms. Nawakwi notes this is because the ruling PF has also embarrassed the country to the outside world despite being advised by the church to be civilized and stop their infighting.

She since demanded that the presidential PF candidate be a woman such as the party’s national Chairperson Inonge Wina as she possesses some sense of direction as a mother despite seemingly not being an ambitious politician.

The FDD leader has observed that men in the ruling party must therefore be ignored because the chaos that is being perpetuated has been instigated by them.
