Kabompo prays for Sata

—-Kabompo residents have joined the rest of the country in mass prayers in honour of late President Michael Sata who died last week on October 28, in the United Kingdom.

The mass prayers, which began on Sunday, November 2, 2014 at Mount Camel Catholic Church, will continue on a daily basis till the late Head of State is put to rest.

 Kabompo acting District Commissioner, Stephen Shajanika, has called on all Kabompo residents to turn up in numbers and mourn the late Head of State in peace and unity.

Dr Shajanika said it is sad that such a tragedy can befall the country just after celebrating the golden jubilee.

President Sata will be put to rest next week on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 after a 14 days’ mourning period.
