Kabompo PF members camp at party office till Sata’ s burial

–As Kabompo residents join the rest of Zambia in mourning President Michael Sata, all Patriotic Front (PF) members have gathered at the district Patriotic Front office vowing to remain camped till the head of state is put to rest.

Speaking in an interview with the ZANIS in Kabompo, Patriotic Front District chairperson, Briston Nyamachaka, expressed sadness over the untimely death of President Sata.

Mr Nyamachaka said the entire membership of the ruling party in the district was shocked with the news and described the death as a big loss to the nation.


He said President Sata was a kind man who never kept hatred but only focused on developing the nation.

The chairperson has since appealed to all Zambians to remain calm and put politics aside and mourn in peace and unity.

 Meanwhile, Kabompo district inter-denomination chairperson, Godfrey  Fulani, said he received the death  of the Head of State with surprise, adding it has come at a time when people of Zambia needed his services most.

Rev Fulani said Mr Sata was a hardworking man who did not want to see Zambians suffering
in their own country.

He said all Zambians need to ask God for wisdom and knowledge during this trying moment and called on every one to mourn the President in peace and put their political differences aside.
