Kaputa Missionaries mourn Sata

—-The Baptist Mission of Zambia, Kaputa branch, has joined the rest of the country in mourning President Michael Chilufya Sata.

Missionary In-Charge at Baptist Mission in Kaputa, James Adair, and wife, Mary said they are saddened at the death of President Sata.

Mr Adair expressed sympathy for the family of President Sata and the country as a whole as they mourn the late Head of State.

He said Zambia appreciates the effort the late President made to improve development in the country, adding that they will miss him.

"President Sata will be missed and we certainly appreciate all of his efforts to further this great nation," he said.

The Missionary said this in a statement to ZANIS today.

Mr Adair said the Baptist Mission in Kaputa will continue praying that Zambia finds a way to move forward in the direction of God.

"We are in prayer that Zambia will find a way to continue to move forward in direction that is pleasing to our Lord," he said.

He added, "We are reminded in the death of President Sata that all men must face death, but praise be to God for those who can face death without fear because of Jesus Christ."

People have continued to mourn President Sata who died in London on Tuesday.
