Angolan Ambassador calls on Zambians to maintain peace ahead of golden jubilee

Angolan Ambassador to Zambia Balbina Da Silva has called on Zambians to maintain peace in the country ahead of the jubilee celebrations.

 

Ms Da Silva said Zambians should also sustain the unity and prosperity which the nation has enjoyed for the past 50 years.

 

She said this in Lusaka last night during the Angola and Zambia 50 years independence gala held at Mulungushi International Conference Center.

 

Ms Da Silva said the gala organized by the Angolans was meant to support and join Zambia in celebrating its 50 years of independence.

 

The Ambassador appreciated the bilateral relations her country shares with Zambia.

 

She also noted that Zambia played a role in her country’s liberation of struggle hence taking part in the jubilee celebrations.
