The Zambia Postal Services has reiterated its commitment to alleviating the suffering of the less privileged people in society.

ZAMPOST board chairperson Elizabeth Kachamba said there were many disadvantaged and vulnerable people in communities hence the need for the corporate world to support them.

Ms. Kachamba said this today when ZAMPOST donated assorted items to Cheshire Homes in commemoration of the Zambia Postal Services (ZAMPOST) Day in Lusaka’s Chawama Township today.

She said ZAMPOST will continue rendering corporate responsibility to those in needy situations.

She also praised Cheshire Homes for the role they are playing in keeping the aged and poor in communities.

And speaking at the same occasion, Cheshire Homes Sister-In-Charge Angela Milonska praised ZAMPSOT for the donation.

Sister Milonska said the donated items will greatly help in cushioning the sufferings of the needy people at Cheshire Homes.

She has since urged ZAMPOST to continue with its good work of assisting  the vulnerable people in society.
