Lightening kills one person in Mwinilunga
Mwinilunga, October 10, 2014,ZANIS….One person died yesterday in Mwinilunga after being struck by lightening following a heavy down pour.
Provincial Police Commissioner Eugene Sibote who confirmed the development in an interview with ZANIS in Mwinilunga district today identified the deceased as Gideon Kazhila of Senior Chief Kanongesha’s area.
Mr Sibote said Kazhila who was in company of two friends met his fate around 19 hours last night at Chiyembi village on their way back from the field adding that two of his friends survived the incident.
He said the body of the deceased is lying in Mwinilunga district hospital mortuary awaiting burial.
