Former President Rupiah Banda says enacting a new constitution would be his top priority if he makes a political comeback and is elected President.
Mr Banda whose political comeback debate has been gaining momentum lately is still eligible to stand for President having only served three years during his last presidency.

Mr Banda is quoted by AFP as saying he would change the country’s constitution if elected president again.

The 77-year-old former President says he has heard calls for him to return to the political fray but that up to now he has not reacted, but merely listening.

Mr Banda says he would instantly announce that the constitution be changed.

  1. This will guarantee pf an easy 2nd term.rb may sway the vote away from hh amongst the hardcore opposition who don’t want to appreciate any good of pf.these are the unbalanced voters who just vote based on the “government needs opposition “even when what they want another president to do is being done or being planned to be done.but rb sure could be scandal.unip people have never accepted their space has dwindled.

  2. You go and pluck out an obscure, disused, old and a sot from obscurity and fill his head with stupid ideas of a political comeback?
