Shiwang`andu, September 23,  2014,ZANIS…Shiwang’andu Council Secretary  Maybin Mulenga has urged developers not to illegally put up structures on state land with intent to be compensated.

Mr. Mulenga said Government will not compensate all those who will encroach on the state land adding that developers who will illegally put up structures within the planned area will be doing that at their own risk.

Mr. Mulenga sounded the warning in an interview with the Zambia News and Information Services (ZANIS) in Shiwang`andu today.

Mr. Mulenga however, appealed to stakeholders to ensure that they acquire land from local government as it has a lot of advantages.

Meanwhile, stakeholders in the district have complained over the prices for residential plots.
