FRA purchases over 63, 000 X 50 kg bags of maize in Kafue district

The Food Reserve Agency (FRA) has purchased 63,175 X 50 kg bags of maize in Kafue District.

 

Kafue District Commissioner, Grace Ngulube said 56,884 bags of maize have since been transported from various satellite depots in the district to the main FRA depot in Kafue.

 

Mrs Ngulube told ZANIS that the process is on-going and the remaining balance of 6,291 is expected to be transported to the main depot in the district.

 

She reaffirmed government’s commitment to preparing the farmers for the next farming season in the district through the early delivery of faring inputs.
