The Zambia Federation of Women in Business (ZFAWIB) has urged women entrepreneurs to take advantage of the month of the woman entrepreneur to show case their skills.
The Month of September every year is marked as the Month of the Women Entrepreneur (MOWE) and is packed with many activities by the women entrepreneurs.

ZFAWIB Board Chairperson Nancy Kawandami says the developmental objective of the MOWE is to accelerate the full integration of women in the main stream of economic activity.

Ms. Kawandami notes that women are poor due to the absence of a strong policy framework that supported the growth of an entrepreneurial culture among Zambians especially and women.
