Mbala man axes another to death, accused of having sex with his wife.

A JEALOUSY man of Mbala in Northern Province has axed a man to death after accusing him of having sex with his wife.
Paul Sinkonde, 38, who is on the run, axed Chrispine Sichimba, also 38, to death after accusing him of having an affair with his wife.

The incident happened on Tuesday between 19:00 and 20:00 hours in the suspect’s house which is two kilometres off Kavumbo Road.
The suspect sustained five deep cuts on the head, two deep cuts on the neck, a cut on his left ear and a broken neck.
Acting Zambia Police public relations officer, Esther Katongo said an axe and a pounding stick were suspected to have been used in the attack.

“We are in pursuit of a man of Kavumbo Village, Chief Mpande of Mbala District aged 38 in connection with the murder of another man of the same village on allegation that he found him having canal knowledge of his wife,” she said. Ms Katongo said after committing the offence, the accused escaped.
