–The Zambia Volleyball Association (ZAVA) is this week expected to hold its volleyball training session in Livingstone.
Association Secretary General, Charles Haambote, said the training programme will be held in collaboration with Sports for Development, Non-Governmental Organisations and other sports federations.
Haambote said ZAVA will be represented by Charles Zimba at the forum which will be in line with grass root volleyball development.
He stated that the training programme is meant to prepare the association on how to interface with its volunteers.
He also revealed that a volunteer from Norway is expected in the country in September to help develop the sport of volleyball in selected schools.
Haambote added that the volunteer will be based in Mufulira on the Copperbelt and is expected to be in the country for a period of one year.
