—–The Alliance for Better Zambia (ABZ) in Mazabuka District says the scooping of Mangango Parliamentary seat by the Patriotic Front (PF) in Western Province is a clear testimony that the ruling party is delivering development to its people.

ABZ Mazabuka District Information and Publicity Secretary, Joseph Mfula, told ZANIS in Mazabuka today that the scooping of Mangango seat by the PF shows the confidence that people have in President Michael Sata’s government.

Mr Mfula, who congratulated PF on its resounding victory, said people of Mangango voted for a progressive development agenda based on the campaign messages that they were given prior to the election.

He charged that the onus is on the government to implement and fulfil the promises they made to people in the area aimed at fostering meaningful development.

Mr Mfula, however, stated that ABZ is hopeful that the Patriotic Front government will embark on an aggressive infrastructure development program in the area which he said has lagged behind in terms of development.

He has cautioned the electorate in the fourth coming by elections to free themselves from a political system that propagates tribalism and violence and usher into office candidates whose political parties have a development agenda for their areas.
