— ZAWA impounds suspected game meat loaded truck in Kalulushi

——Police in Kalulushi have impounded a Fuso Fighter Truck that was carrying suspected game meat.

Police sources in Kitwe who confirmed the report to ZANIS in an interview in Kalulushi District, today.

 

They said the alert  Zambia Wild Life Authority (ZAWA) area management Unit found the truck in Luanshya ‘s Kamirenda Township, yesterday.

Police Sources said by the time the ZAWA officers were informed, the driver and the people on the truck had already escaped.

The sources said the Fuso Fighter registration number ABG 1603 carried 30 bundles of assorted game meat.

They said the owner of the vehicle should go to Kalulushi Police Station for questioning on the matter.
