Chiefs in Southern Province have been advised to seek audience with Republican President Michael Sata on issues affecting them and not rush to the media.

Siavonga PF loosing Member of Parliament in the 2011 General Elections, Lovemore Kanyama, says there is need for traditional leaders to find means and ways of engaging President Sata instead of airing their views through the media.

Mr. Kanyama has told QFM News in a telephone interview that if the traditional leaders cannot manage to see the Head of State, there is still room for them to see Chiefs and Traditional Affairs Minister Nkandu Luo on issues affecting them.

Mr. Kanyama has condemned the manner Chief Mukuni of the Toka-leya in Southern Province has involved himself in the case of Henry Kanyanta Sosala stating that he should leave the matter to President Sata and the Bemba Royal Establishment (BRE) to handle it maturely.
