Health Minister Joseph Kasonde has appealed to nurses dismissed for going on strike last year who are reluctant to re-apply for employment to re-apply.
And the Health Minister has clarified that government has not attached any conditions for the reinstatement of the dismissed nurses.
Dr. Kasonde, who could not clearly state how many dismissed nurses have been reinstated so far, says nurses should not view government as an enemy but an ally in development.
He says there is no need for the dismissed nurses to be reluctant in re-applying stating that it is for the benefit of the country.
Dr. Kasonde says all the remaining dismissed nurses have a chance of been reinstated for as long as they reapply using the correct channels.
