— Japanese Royal family tours Antiretroviral Therapy centre in Chilanga District

———-Visiting Japanese Imperial Highnesses Prince Akishino and the wife Kiko today toured the Antiretroviral Therapy (ART ) centre at Mount Makulu clinic in Chilanga district.

The centre was recently constructed in partnership with the Association for Aid and Relief (AAR) Japan and the Zambian government.

The Royal couple were received at the ART centre by Chilanga District Commissioner Edith Muwana and other senior government health officials amid tight security.

Chiefs and Traditional affairs minister Prof Nkandu Luo accompanied Prince Akishino and the wife Kiko during the tour .

After inspecting the Centre, the Imperial Highnesses were treated to some traditional Zambian dances.

Later,  Prince Akishino and the wife Kiko processed to greet Mount Makulu clinic health personal before taking a group photo with the members of staff.

 

Meanwhile scores of Chilanga residents and onlookers lined up along the Kafue road to catch a glimpse of the visiting Japanese Imperial Highnesses.

The Vigil Zambia Police who were clad in their informs mounted tight security during the tour of the ART centre by the royal Japanese couple.
