Kaunda announces provisional team for the Niger 2015 Africa cup qualifiers against Botswana

Zambia Under 17 National Team Coach Chris Kaunda has named a 25 member provision team to start preparations ahead of the Niger 2015 Africa cup qualifiers match against Botswana next month.

 

The Junior Chipolopolo who were on bye in the first round of the Niger 2015 qualifiers will take on Botswana who were also on bye on the weekend of 18-20 July 2014.

 

Kaunda has since urged all the twenty five players called to camp to report at the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) Technical Centre on Sunday 29th June 2014 at 14:00 hours.

He stated that Letters of request to have the Boys released for national duty by their respective clubs have already been sent.

 

Kaunda disclosed that all the Boys summoned for camp where those discovered in the recent Airtel Rising Stars talent identification program which is a partnership between FAZ and Airtel.

 

This is contained in a statement issued to ZANIS Sports in Lusaka today by Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) Communications Officer Nkweto Tembwe.

 

Meanwhile, U17 Team Manager Goodson Mbozi has urged all the players called to campy to bring with them their birth records.

 

Those called to camp are: Goalkeepers Daniel Sikanyika, Derrick Sichangwe and Jackson Kakunta.

 

Defenders are : Benson Chali, Elias Kapembwa, Prosper Chiluya, Edward Chimfwembe, Gift Sikaonga, Salati Lungu, Sable Bulls, Gilbert Ngulube, Wayne Museba and Garry Mwelwa.

 

Midfielders are:  Siame Musonda, Enock Mwepu, Changwe Kalale, Kenneth Sakala, Chipile Edwin, Chulu Stephen, Kapasha Musonda, Shadreck Kambwili, Mwansa Mwila and Victor Chungu.

 

Strikers are: Patson Daka, Pumulo Siwanga, Francisco Mwepu John Kapufi, Kingsley Musabula and Bisesa Mike
