Losing Siavonga Patriotic Front Parliamentary Candidate in the 2011 elections, Lovemore Kanyama has accused Mr Chipenzi of speaking ill about the ruling party because he plans to contest the Siavonga seat on the UPND ticket in 2016.
But Mr Chipenzi has told Qfm in an interview that when he speaks on issues of governance he speaks for the people of Zambia, stating that his duty is to ensure that democracy prevails in a democratic nation like Zambia.
He adds that reports that he wants to contest the Siavonga parliamentary seat are simply mere speculations simply because he hails from Siavonga.
Mr Chipenzi stresses that he does not always criticize the government but either gives praise when it is due or criticizes when the government goes wrong.
He also points that he is at liberty to speak on national matters like any other citizen without any criticism from anyone because Zambia is a democratic country.
