President Sata arrives in Israel for a working holiday

 President  Michael Chilufya Sata has arrived in the Israeli capital Tel Aviv  on a working holiday at the invitation of out-going Israeli President Shimon Peres.

 

President Sata, who is accompanied to Israel by First Lady Dr. Christine Kaseba Sata and other senior government officials, was received by Zambia’s Honorary Consular-General to the Republic of Israel Her Excellency Ms. Ronit Hershkovitz.

 

While in Israel, President Sata will among other important engagements, have meetings with out-going Israeli President Mr. Shimon Peres and Israeli senior Government officials.

 

The President will also hold meetings with Israeli businessmen who are interested in investing in Zambia’s rural industrialization project.

 

This is contained in a statement by Acting Information and Broadcasting minister and Chief Government spokesperson Mwansa Kapeya.

  1. I ve only seen it in PF were a president just sneaks out of the country when he is going out for a working holiday.

    • As a nation we have really been taken for granted by the PF my brother, I wonder where the difficulty is in informing the nation that the president has departed for Israel on an official visit at the invitation of that country! Maybe he has just gone to sell emeralds.
