Zambian midfielder Lubambo Musonda could jet off to Spain for a trial at an unnamed club. The 19-year-old has been doing well for his career while playing for Power Dynamos in the Zambia Premier League.
In issue 876 of Soccer Laduma it was revealed by the Siya crew that the rising star of Zambian football is keen on a move to the PSL.
A source close to Musonda revealed that the player’s potential move to South Africa has been put on hold in favour of a trial abroad.
“There is a strong possibility that Lubambo Musonda could be invited for trials in Spain later this week. The Spanish team is expected to send an invitation letter to the player’s representatives before the end of the week. They are keeping the name of the team to themselves for now, but it will be known soon,” said the source.
Musonda recently graduated to the senior national team of Zambia. He welcomed his inclusion in Patrice Beaumelle’s side with a wonder goal in the friendly international against Japan earlier this month.
