China assures Zambian young people
Lusaka, June 19, 2014, ZANIS—China has assured Zambia that it will give serious considerations to some of the emerging issues affecting young people in the country.
First secretary of the secretariat of the central committee of china’s communist youth league Qin Yizhi says the move is aimed at building strong capacity building among young people.
Mr. Yizhi said the future of any country lies in young people hence to ensure that their challenges are fully addressed particularly unemployment.
ZANIS Reports that My Yizhi said this when he paid a courtesy call on Youth and Sport Minister Chishimba Kambwili at his office in Lusaka today.
Mr. Yizhi has since called for strong ties between the two governments in youth exchange programmes aimed at empowering young people with technical skills.
And Mr. Kambwili said government is committed to continue partnering with China in addressing the plight of young people.
Mr. Yizhi is in the company of Chines Vice President Li Yuanchao who is on his four days working visit to Zambia.
