Govt committed to ensuring quality education provision
Namwala , June 17TH, 2014, ZANIS — Government says it is committed to ensuring quality education is accessible to all .
Namwala District Commissioner Gevar Nsanzya says government has put in measures that will make every school going child to be in school through out the country.
Mr. Nsanza said government was particularly focusing on the girl child who he said has been disadvantaged and abused at large.
ZANIS reports that the District Commissioner was said this at Niko Technical girls were school in Namwala District yesterday.
This was part of the celebration Day of the African child under the theme : “ Zambia at 50 towards a child friendly, quality, free and compulsory education for all.”
The District Commisioner warned that government will not condone abuse of pupils by teachers, guardians or parents.
He advised pupils in the area to report perpetrators of such vices to authorities.
