End Violence Against Women and Girls Now
Gender Minister Inonge Wina says people have continued to question why Gender Based Violence (GBV) has continued to escalate in the country despite the many interventions that are in place.

Ms. Wina however notes that her ministry and the different stakeholders are tirelessly working to ensure that the country overcomes the vice for a better future.

She adds that government wants to ensure that every one both now and in the future generation live in peace and prosperity without fear of being abused in any form.

Ms. Wina states that with the consented efforts being made by various stakeholders, it is most likely that Zambia will achieve gender equality.

She has further encouraged women and children who are abused to report the cases to the police so that the perpetrators are brought to book and given the necessary punishment so that others are deterred from committing the same crime.
