The excitement of the World Cup soccer finals in Brazil has turned into grief and anger for a couple in Lusaka, where a 20-year-old man raped his 39-year-old aunt as his uncle was glued to the television watching the opening match of the ‘beautiful game’.

And police have placed a K5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of a group of people who indecently assaulted an allegedly adulterous woman in an incident that was filmed and widely circulated on social media.
The suspected rapist, whom police have identified, has since been arrested and detained at Matero police.
Police deputy public relations officer Rae Hamoonga said the aunt opted to retire to bed , leaving her husband to watch the opening game between Brazil and Croatia, which started after 22:00 hours.
The nephew allegedly took advantage of the situation to rape his aunt.
On the reward of K5,000, Mr Hamoonga said the police will take stern action against people who post and distribute pictures of nude people.
Mr Hamoonga said in a statement issued in Lusaka yesterday that those that abused the woman shown in the video gone viral on the internet must be brought to book.
“The assailants in this case paraded a naked woman whom they harassed and shot a video of the whole scene which they posted and is currently on the Internet,” he said.
Mr Hamoonga said the act is inhuman and the most degrading form of gender -based violence and urged people with information that would lead to the arrest of the perpetrators to report to the nearest police station.
“We would like to warn other people that are in the habit of making, posting and distributing such nude pictures or videos that under the Zambia Law, acts of this nature amount to crime, and if found guilty, one may be  imprisoned,” he said.
Meanwhile, police in Eastern Province have arrested a 70-year-old man for allegedly killing his wife during a domestic dispute.
Mr Hamoonga said the man has been identified as Timothy Njobvu and his wife  as Theresa Njobvu, 60.
He said that Njobvu punched his wife who was found dead in the house with cuts on her lips.
The incident happened between 17:00 hours and 21:00 hours on Thursday and the suspect is in police custody.
