Government has given Times of Zambia Management a fourteen days ultimatum to find money and pay striking workers who have gone for three months without pay.

Acting Labour Minister Chishimba Kambwili says Times of Zambia Management should put their house in order because they are embarrassing government.

Mr Kambwili says government institutions and parastals should lead by example if private sector employers are to be pushed to pay their workers well.

He says he was extremely disturbed and disappointed when he learnt that Times of Zambia unionized workers have gone without pay for three months.

Mr Kambwili has since directed Times of Zambia Management to find money to clear all outstanding salary arrears for the Workers.

He has further cautioned parastatal bodies against creating industrial unrest as a result of failed payment of salaries.

The strike action by Times of Zambia workers has entered day two.
