The PF in Kasama Central Constituency has described as uncalled-for remarks attributed to MMD Information and Publicity Secretary, Cephas Bwalya’s call on members of the public to apply for adaptation in the pending by-election in the Constituency.
Reacting to revelations that MMD has received an overwhelming response of people wishing to contest in the looming Kasama central by election, Constituency Chairperson Fidelis Chishoma expressed shock saying the Electoral Commission of Zambia has not declared the seat vacant.
Mr charged that Mr Cephas Bwalya has no mandate to call for elections when the electoral body has not done so.
He has since called on the MMD Information and Publicity Secretary to be cautious with his statements.
