Hector Chilombo has drafted in Nchanga Rangers midfielder Larry Bwalya into his Zambia Under-20 side ahead of this weekend’s 2015 African Youth Championship second round, return leg qualifier against Mozambique.

Bwalya is one of two new faces Chilombo has added to his team together with Zanaco’s winger Davy Daka.

“We have re-enforced the squad with two more players who are Davy Daka from Zanaco and Larry Bwalya from Nchanga Rangers,” Chilombo said.

“The team is doing well and are working hard.”

The team trained from Bank of Zambia Sports Complex in Lusaka on Monday morning before shifting to Nkoloma Stadium later in the afternoon where they will host Mozambique this Sunday.

Zambia lead 2-0 from the first leg played a fortnight ago on May 10 in Maputo.

“We are urging the boys not to be complacent or become big headed after winning the first leg 2-0. we are going to win on Sunday which is our target,” Chilombo said.

Winner this weekend will face either DR Congo or Malawi in the final round this August.

DR Congo head into their home leg against Malawi tied at 1-1 from first leg played Kamuzu Banda Stadium in Blantyre.

Zambia is looking to qualify to the African Youth Championship finals for the first time since 2007 in Congo-Brazzaville where they finished fourth.
