MTN Zambia has donated K30, 000 to the Kazanga traditional ceremony of the Nkoya speaking people of Kaoma district.

Speaking when he received the cheque, organizing committee chairperson patron Yamfwa Mukanga thanked MTN for supplementing government’s efforts in promoting culture and tradition in the country.

Mr. Mukanga, who is also Communications and Transport Minister, said the ceremony will be held from the 15th to 18th of May and the Nkoya family was delighted by the gesture from the mobile phone provider.

He said he was happy that the private sector was taking a leading role in the preservation of culture and tradition.
