Movement for Multiparty Democracy (MMD) president Nevers Mumba says the former ruling party remains strong even in the midst of internal wrangles.
Dr Mumba has since expressed confidence that the party will amicably resolve its current wrangles internally.
Dr. Mumba has told Qfm News in an interview that nothing will stop MMD members from reconciling with each other without the involvement of outsiders.
He says he is impressed with the support of party members across the country and the hope they still have in the former ruling party.
Dr Mumba says party members across the country want to see the MMD continue surviving.
The MMD president notes that what is happening in the former ruling party is a passing phase.
