Professionals in Zambia are enjoying the full benefits of flexible working after Regus opened a drop-in business lounge at its Lusaka centre to celebrate its second anniversary.
The increased desire for flexible office space, which can be upsized or downscaled overnight, has also led the global workplace provider to expand its centre by more than 50 per cent. The new business lounge offers members a communal space in a professional environment. There are lounge seats in addition to two Thinkpods for those wanting a private area. All Businessworld Gold card members and those leasing a serviced office can use this or any other Regus business lounge in Africa or around the world without charge.
“The nature of work is changing and the creation of a drop-in space through the business lounge was in direct response to the diverse needs of today’s workforce. We are also seeing members from South Africa using this facility when in Lusaka, allowing them to have an office away from their office,”added Bushell.
