After a hard-day’s work, and before retiring to bed, let me share my reflections on unity.

We must accept that as citizens and members of same political parties, religious affiliations and families, we will not always agree. This is because conflict is an outgrowth of diversity- conflict is a part of life and it provides for growth.

I’m your brother and you’re my brothers and sisters. Our differences do not turn us into each other’s enemies. Beyond our differences and challenges, we are one people.

So whatever the challenges, we can take small actions to rise above them. Though we are many citizens, we are one people and one nation. We have a duty to care for each other. Speaking for myself, I remain committed to this duty. How about you?

God Bless Zambia!
