MTN Zambia has announced a ZMK 100,000 sponsorship package towards hosting this year’s Nc’wala traditional ceremony of the Ngoni people in Chipata. CMO Clement Asante urged the Nc’wala organising committee to take advantage of this year’s ceremony as it comes after Zambia successfully co-hosted the United Nations World Tourism Conference. He said the world is now looking at Zambia and its tourism package, which includes the Nc’wala ceremony.

While the company has committed ZMK 50,000 to the Nc’wala organising committee, the balance will be used for other logistics and entertainment by Dalisoul. Meanwhile, MTN Zambia has assured everyone travelling to Chipata for the ceremony of uninterrupted communication. The CEO said the company will take advantage of its presence at the ceremony to interact with existing and new customers.
