Top Zambian striker Bornwell Mwape, who plays for Nchanga Rangers, is currently on trial with Swedish champions Malmo FC with the hope of securing a permanent move.
The 22-year-old striker started his trials on Monday and looked sharp in the five degree winter day, according to his agent Ryan Hartslief of Bigtime Sports.
“This boy has all the makings of star! He is strong and has an eye for goal. He could be a perfect replacement for Tokelo Rantie who was sold to Bournemouth FC not long ago. We will see how he goes,” said Hartslief.
Malmo will participate in Uefa Champions league playoffs for next season and a move for Mwape could be a great boost for the Zambian star.
