PF govt delivering – Opposition MP Mutelo

Lukulu, February 3, 2014 ZANIS— Opposition  United Party for National Development UPND Lukulu West area Member of Parliament Misheck Mutelo says the PF Government will continue taking development to the people in rural areas.

And Mitete District Commissioner Teddy Chimbinde said the main aim of the meeting was to listen to people’s concerns saying development can only be in the area through listening to people’s needs.

 

Mr. Mutelo  says  the PF government of the day will improve rural areas by taking many developmental projects closer to the people.

He said so far they are so many projects that are taking place in the newly created Mitete District saying few years from now the district will be developed.

 

ZANIS  reports that  the parliamentarian said this during the meeting that took place at Kakulunda Basic School in Mitete District of Western Province on Saturday.

He stated that his main focus as Area Member of Parliament is to see to it that projects in the area are being implemented saying people in his constituency are suffering than those in urban areas.

The Area Member of Parliament said he is aware of the many challenges faced by farmers, teachers and the entire community adding that the challenges will soon be of the past.

And Mitete District Commissioner Teddy Chimbinde said the main aim of the meeting was to listen to people’s concerns saying development can only be in the area through listening to people’s needs.

Mr. Chimbinde said the Patriotic Front Government is a listening government saying people’s needs will be heard by the government and be implemented.

The DC further thanked the people of Kakulunda area for their openness and contributions during the meeting.

The meeting which took place at Kakulunda basic School in Mitete District was attended by Ward Councilors, various Heads of Department under Mitete District as well as the communities of Kakulunda.
