President Sata in London for a working holiday

President Michael Sata has arrived in London, United Kingdom for his 14 days working holiday.

Mr Sata who arrived at Heathrow airport last evening was received by Zambia’s High Commissioner to the UK Paul Lumbi and other diplomatic staff.

President Sata who is accompanied by First Lady Chistine Kaseba left Addis Ababa, Ethiopia for a working holiday after the official closing of the 22nd Ordinary Session of the African Union Heads of State and Government Summit on Friday Evening.

Whilst in Ethiopia, President Sata held fruitful meetings of mutual interest and benefit to the country with various international groups and agencies as well as Heads of State and Government.

President Sata was seen off at Bole International airport in Addis Ababa by Foreign Affairs Minister Wylbur Simusaa, Agriculture Minister Bob Sichinga, Zambia’s Ambassador to Ethiopia Susan Sikaneta and some senior government officials around 10:00 hours local time yesterday morning.

The President is expected back in the country after the working holiday.
