President Sata honours Muyamwa
Lusaka, January 27,ZANIS——President Michael Sata has declared a three day national mourning for the late veteran Broadcaster and Singer Charles Muyanwa who died in Pretoria in South Africa.
President Sata has announced that the period of national mourning will be from Tuesday 28,2014 to Thursday,30 2014 adding that during the period of national mourning all flags will fly at half mast.
This is according to a statement released to ZANIS by Secretary to the Cabinet Dr. Roland Msiska.
The president said all radio and television stations should play solemn music from 06:00 hours to 18:00 hours and all activities of entertainment nature should be postponed or cancelled.
The burial for the late Charles Muyamwa will take place on Thursday this week and will be proceeded by a mass at a catholic church to be advised.
