Mitete council releases funds for construction of agriculture camp houses.

Mitete District Agriculture Office in Western Province has been funded to build two agriculture camp houses under 2013 Constituency Development Funds CDF.

Mitete District Council Secretary disclosed the development to ZANIS in Lukulu District recently.

Mr. Robbie Chitambo said the two agriculture camp houses will be built at Mataba and Sikunduko Agriculture Camps respectively.

The Council Secretary added that construction of the houses will begin as soon as the contractor has been identified.

 And Mitete District Marketing and Development Officer Harrison Kusupeka said once completed the camp houses will enhance contact between extension officers and farmers whenever there is a problem.

Mr.  Kusupeka said expressed hope that many camp houses will be built for agriculture and veterinary officers in Mitete District for easy accessibility of information and other needs.
