Northern province minister Freedom Sikazwe is disappointed with the management crisis at Mbala general hospital which has negatively affected the smooth delivery of quality health service to the people.

And Mr. Sikazwe has warned workers and management staff that he will not allow anarchy and infighting to disrupt the provision of health services at the general hospital.

Speaking when he addressed workers and management staff at the weekend, the provincial minster said the public complaints of poor health service delivery at the second referral hospital in the province was due to infighting between senior management staff.

He said the Ministry of Health should urgently resolve the confusion at the top management level in order to restore the past glory of quality health service delivery at Mbala general hospital.

Mr. Sikazwe said the PF administration was in a hurry to provide quality health services to the people but that such efforts were being frustrated by the senior management staff who are busy fighting each other at the expense of serving the patients.

The provincial minister said he will engage the minister of health Dr. Joseph Kasonde to find a solution to the continued infighting that has rocked Mbala general hospital at management level.
